Pool Draining

Periodically your pool may need to be drained.  Sometimes, the TDS levels may be too high.  TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) include minerals, metals and salt.  When the levels exceed 1500 ppm the chemicals in your pool may be ineffective.  There are other chemicals that may be too high due to chlorine tablets that slowly increase the amount of CYA in your pool.  This makes chlorine ineffective and can cause significant damage to you pool.  If you need to drain your pool we will do it during the cold season to prevent any damage to your pool surface.  If a pool is not drained properly the hydrostatic pressure may cause the pool to look like the one in the picture.  Please contact us before draining your pool.
